- Ziploc® bags in gallon and quart sizes are absolute necessities. In your carry-on, keep each extra outfit in a bag, which can be repurposed to hold the dirty clothes.
- You might not think of duct tape, but wrapping a few feet around a pen makes for easy packing and the ability to make quick repairs to holes, broken straps, etc. (This great idea was discovered at the National Geographic Traveler site.
